Continuing its push to be available across devices, pay TV operator Tata Sky has launched its Everywhere TV application on personal computers along with the smartphones and tablets it was already catering to.
Combined with the ability to record and playback content, this new feature could prove to be hit during the FIFA World Cup starting on Thursday. Everywhere TV subscribers can already watch the match from Sony Six live at no additional cost.
Chief Commercial Officer, Vikram Mehra, said the move was prompted by the success of Everywhere TV on phones and tablets.

“The service launch has been timed just before the football World Cup, to ensure that home laptop doubles up as the 2nd TV at home, thus allowing youngsters to watch late night football matches on their laptops and headphones, without disturbing their entire family,” he added.
