iBall has launched a new tablet under its Slide 3G series and this one is positioned at the higher-end of the 7 to 8-inch segment as far as Indian brands are concerned
The iBall Slide 3G 7803Q-900 tablet is with an MRP of Rs 13,999. You can expect it to retail at Rs 12,499. Like most tablets by the company, the 7803Q-900 also offers voice calling, and features dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby support.
The Slide 3G 7803Q-900 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There’s a 7.85-inch TFT display with lowly 1024×768 pixel resolution. We expected at least a 720p display at this price. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front camera for video calling, and of course, selfies.
There’s 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded thanks to the microSD card slot up to 32GB. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and Micro-USB, and 3G cellular support round off the connectivity options. It also supports USB OTG (on-the-go) feature so you can uses microSD pen drives with ease. The tablet has a battery capacity of 4000mAh, which sounds just about enough for a day’s use if used as a tablet and not a primary phone.
