ContaCam Video Surveillance Software
ContaCam is a video surveillance software that can turn your webcam into a motion detection camera with automatic logging and custom alert options. The program can monitor the area within camera view and automatically start recording whenever it detects any motion. The recordings can be saved as AVI or Flash video and optionally uploaded to a FTP server or sent by email. You can also choose to capture still images at regular intervals and create a thumbnail history log you can access remotely via the integrated web server.In addition to video surveillance, Contacam can also be used as DVR for 24 hour recording, scheduled recording or manual on-demand recording. The program supports many advanced configuration options, including customizable (or external) detection zones, snapshot editing, customizable video settings, detection scheduling, network streaming, audio recording, and more.ContaCam supports Webcams, WDM and DV devices as well as IP cameras, and can record from multiple sources at the same time. Can also run as Windows service.
