Champion Computers, in partnership with BSNL, has launched the Champion DM6513 phablet at Rs. 6,999.
The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean-based BSNL Champion DM6513 features a 6.5-inch display, with no word on the screen resolution. The new phablet from Champion Computers is backed by a dual-core processor (unspecified clock speed and chipset).
Unfortunately, the company has not revealed the RAM and inbuilt storage details of the Champion DM6513. However, the device supports expandable storage up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
The BSNL Champion DM6513 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, accompanied by a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a large 3500mAh battery, which according to the company delivers up to 4 hours of talktime and standby time of up to 62 hours.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, Micro-USB and 3G. Other features in the BSNL Champion DM6513 include FM radio with recording and G sensor.
Commenting on the launch, Kapil Wadhwa, MD, Champion Computers Pvt. Ltd. said, "Our BSNL DM6513 is a 6.5-inch phablet which is suitable for both work and play. After introducing feature phones and smartphones, we were certain to penetrate in the phablet market. We have devised our product with all the necessary features at a very competitive pricing. We are affirmative that this product will set great standards and substantiate that we are offering the best of quality at very affordable prices."
Earlier, Champion Computers launched two new budget dual-SIM Android 4.2.2 smartphones, the My Phone SM3512 and My Phone SM3513 in January.
Notably, the BSNL Champion My SM3513 comes with almost same specifications seen on My Phone SM3512. However, the Champion My SM3513 supports 3G connectivity option, unlike the Champion My Phone SM3512.
