Today ThermalTech is patented in over 10 Countries! We've been trying to find a good home for our technology for the last few years. Last year, everything changed when we were awarded first place over 1,000 contestants as Best Technological Start Up at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Morocco.

Available in both Men and Women cuts, we have the following jacket collections: Street (perfect for running errands around town or a night out on the town), Explorer (great for campers, hikers and fishing) and Extreme (ideal companion for snowboarding and skiing). Each style will be available in several popular colors and sizes S, M, L, and XL. The jackets are also under a one year warranty.
Utilizing patented, lightweight energy absorbing fabric technology, ThermalTech fabric is designed to capture the sun’s ultraviolet rays (as well as energy from artificial light sources) and transform them into heat to warm wearers up to an additional 18F in a matter of minutes.
The stainless steel mesh fabric threads are strong yet lightweight, lending to extended lifetime use, while it's paper-thin design reduces the additional weight that heat-storing materials typically bring to outerwear.

STRETCH GOAL #1 - $50,000 USD - ADDITION OF INNER GLOVES AND BOTTLE HOLDER
If we meet our $50,000 goal, we will add inner gloves to the jacket perks*. The inner gloves feature a stretchy thumb-loop made with Spandex and Polyamide to keep your hands extra toasty.

We will also include with every jacket a bottle holder to effortlessly hold your bottles (whatever you’re drinking) to leave your hands free. The bottle holder will consist of a wide elastic strip inside the jackets at the level of the handwarmer pockets to keep and prevent spillage. Fits most normal 17oz bottle sizes. (all jackets)
STRETCH GOAL #2 - $100,000 USD - ADDITION OF MOBILE CHARGER WITH EXTRA CUSTOM INNER JACKET POCKET
If we meet our $100,000 goal, everyone who buys a jacket will get a mobile charger integrated into the jackets so wearers can charge their phone while enjoying their outdoor activities. The ThermalTech jackets will have an extra pocket added within the cell phone pocket to keep it safe and secure from all movement. Please note that the mobile charger is not charged by the jacket and is a separate USB charger.

ThermalTech was co-founded by Carlos Cortes Manica and Fatima Rocha Arguelles with the goal to "impact people's life positively through technology". We started out making solar technology for solar water heater industry and were always inventing new ways to use materials related to solar.
ThermalTech's group of seven passionate engineers is lead by one of the best scientists in Mexico. She recently won the Mexico National Science Academy award! Her PHD thesis on solar coatings combined with the group's passion for finding new ways to harness the sun's energy is the basis for ThermalTech!
That helps us to meet incredible people including Dr. Jill Biden (Joe Biden's wife), Secretary Penny Prizker, and Small Business Director Maria Contreras-Sweet. It's through their encouragement and insistence that we take our "neat idea" and make it into a reality, which is why we started this campaign!
