Why we created it!
We noticed that there were no options for iPhone users to record their own thoughts and conversations -- in person or over the phone -- without connecting to an external online app or service. It's time consuming, inconvenient, unreliable and unsafe. If you are in the middle of a conversation or outside an internet connection you are out of luck -- until now!
The JIC case looks like any other phone case with a speaker on the back! Hidden within are a "play" and "record" button, microphone, stand-alone memory card slot, high-end playback speaker, and dedicated charging/data cable port.
Our Perks
Designed for iPhone 5 and above, JIC cases are made with durable and long-lasting plastic and silicone. JIC was painstakingly created to not only be discreet, but to be tough enough for regular wear and tear without interfering with usual day-to-day iPhone use.

The cases have undergone a series of both drop tests and pressure tests and can withstand drops of up to 10 feet and up to 220 lbs of pressure!
Mix-and-Match Colors
Mix and match colors to create your ideal style! The silicone padding (the part nearest to the phone) comes in red, black and white. The plastic shell (which also houses the recording functionality) comes in red, black, blue, white, yellow, and green.
How it Works
The specially positioned microphone records the conversation when the user presses the record button. Layered within the case is a small processor that converts the audio into MP3 sound files, including a special unit that creates date/timestamp for each file. All files are stored on the included 2 GB microSD card.
For playback, the process is reversed when the user presses the play button. The processor reads the file on the microSD, starting with the latest file, and produces sound through the speaker. The speaker is a high-end miniature speaker specifically designed for portable devices delivering high-quality sound reproduction in the smallest space possible. Additional presses of the play button will skip to previously recorded files on the microSD card.

The very moment that the campaign ends, we will start production. Over the last two years, we have been using our savings to create prototypes to perfect the design to ensure it is as thin and light as possible.
