Eraser

Eraser
As you reached this page and are reading this article, you probably know your Windows operating system doesn’t securely erase files you deleted. First they will end up in the Recycle Bin, from where they can easily be restored. When permanently deleting them, they might still be recovered, as the space they occupy is only flagged as being free to be used.
Now, for various reasons you might want your deleted data to be securely erased, meaning they will be irrecoverable. As such, you might be interested in the dedicated and free solution presented here, called Eraser.
With Eraser your deleted files will be overwritten using six different algorithms and as a result they can’t be recovered.
This application integrates with the Recycle Bin’s context menu, so you’ll be able to securely delete data by right-clicking on the Bin and choosing the respective option from its menu.
